27/11/2017The Head of State signed a number of decrees creating new institutions and modifying administrative and academic organisation in five state universities in Cameroon.
The decrees signed on Friday, November 24, 2017 concern the Universities of Bamenda, Buea, Dschang, Yaounde I and Ngaoundere.
#University of Bamenda: A new National Higher Polytechnic Institute created and attached to the University#University of Dschang: A new Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences created
# University of Buea: The existing Department of Law and the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences transferred to the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University of Buea.
#University of Yaounde I : A Higher Technical Teachers Training College created in Ebolowa and attached to the University of Yaounde I.
# University of Ngaoundere : President Paul Biya’s decree details the administrative and academic organisation of the Geology and Mining Exploitation School of the University of Ngaoundere.
