04/12/2017The Handball Lionsesses have witnessed a second consecutive defeat at the ongoing 2017 World Women’s Handball Championship in Germany.
The Cameroonian ladies failed to outsmart Serbia in their second encounter this Sunday 3rd December 2017 in Leipzig,Germany.
The Serbian National Women Handball team lashed the Indomitable Lionesses 34-21 in a day-2 group clash.
Despite the stakes of the match,the Lionesses failed to impress for yet the second time.
The girls of Jean Marie Zambo have a chance to make amends if they humble another handball giant country,the Netherlands this Monday 4th December 2017.
Going by the programme schedule of the Championship,the Lionesses are drawn up in group D alongside the Netherlands, the host,Germany,Serbia,South Korea and China.
Cameroon occupied the third place at 2016 African Championship.
Note worthy is the fact that, this is Cameroon’s second participation at the World Women’s after finishing 22nd out of 24 at the 2005 Championship.
