Back to School: calm returns to the South West Region

Calm has returned in most schools of the South West Region after students were sent running back home by a group of unidentified men.

The incident which occured this Monday 15th January 2018 affected the following schools in Kumba: The Cameroon Colledge of Arts and Science CCAS Kumba, situated at the Buea Road Neighbourhood; Deligent Bilingual Secondary School Buea Road and some other private schools in Fiango.

In Buea at Government Bilingual High School Muea, academic activities are going on smoothly Even though classes began timidly with about 400 students present in school this Tuesday 16th January 2018.

At the Summerset Bilingual school Buea, crisis meeting between the administration and students of the examination classes was held to ensure a hitch free examination year.

The Governor of South West Okalia Bilial has also assured the population of security measures put in place to ensure a hitch free academic and economic activities throughout the school year.
