Engineers in charge of constructing the new faculties created in the University of Bamenda say they are intensifying efforts to ensure that the buildings are completed and ready for use.
The information was released in a working visit by the Governor of the North West Region Adolphe Lele Lafrique who was accompanied by a delegation from the University of Bamenda led by its vice Chanscellor Theresia Nkuo Akenji.
The new Facultues under construction are the Higher Institute of National Polytechnique and the Faculty of Education.
The buildings which were programmed for completion by the end of January 2018 still need some touch, and will be completed in March 2018.
The vice Chancellor Theresia Akenji noted that 1000 students have deposited their applications, of which 250 will be selected.
She equally mentioned that the credentias of all the 1000 applicants are of very high quality even though not all of them will be shortlisted.
