The Resident Representative of the UN System- Allegra Maria Del Pilar Baiocchi, the Ambassador of Israel to Cameroon Ran Gidor and the Ambassador of China to Cameroon Wei Wenhua have pledged to improve cooperation ties with Cameroon .
The three were received this Thursday 22nd February 2018 in three separate audiences by the Minister of External Relations Le Jeune Mbella Mbella .
The Resident Representative of the UN System Her Excellency Allegra Maria Del Pilar Baiocchi, first to be received, promised UN’s continues assistance to Cameroon, a country that has been hosting thousands of refugees and internally displaced persons.
The UN she promised, will carry out to other development projects in line with the 2035 emergence vision.
The crisis in the two english speaking regions of Cameroon also came under review.
The Minister and his quest discussed ways by which the regions could be stabilised and smooth elections held.
The next was the Ambassador of Israel to Cameroon His Excellency Ran Gidor. He pledged his country’s preparedness to continuously promote young Cameroonian Entrepreneurs and innovators.
In 2017, 65 young Cameroonians were trained in the domain of Agriculture, Women’s Empowerment, Health Education in Isreal.
The Ambassador noted that Cameroon had the second highest number of trainees in Africa.
The Ambassador of China to Cameroon Wei Wunhua was last of the three guests at the Ministry of External Relations.
The Ambassador and Minister discussed President Paul Biya’s immenent visit to China.
Both officials also discussed ongoing projects in the Economic and infrastructure domains where China is involved.
