Justice Emmanuel Ndjere appointed by the Head of State on 7th, June 2017 officially takes service as President of the Special Criminal Court (SCC) this Friday, 2nd February 2018.
The solemn ceremony organised in the Special Criminal Court was attended by top government officials, the judiciary and other personalities.
He takes over from Justice Yap Abdou, who is presently Advocate General of the Supreme Court.
The graduate of the National School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM) is also holder of a Master’s degree in law. His acedemic achievements and trainings are also registered in a number of institutions out of Cameroon.
At 57 years, Emmanuel Ndjere totals 30 years of work experience in a number of state institutions and in different capacities. Some include;
#charge d’affair and later Director of Legislative Affairs at the Prime Minister’s Office.
# Lecturer at the Agricultural Institute of Dschang and the National School of Administration and Magistracy.
#Inspector General at the Ministry of Surveys and Land Tenure.
# Secretary General at the Ministry of Communication.
