Football: Professional players of the diaspora get a great August week-end within their clubs

A good number of Cameroonian football professionals abroad registered victory within their clubs.

Samuel Eto’o Fils netted in a Turkish super league. The day-30 game saw his club Konyaspor defeating Kasimpasa by 2-1.

Eto’s is so far credited with eleven goals in Konyaspor.

In the French football, Lea Siliki another Cameroonian, scored for Rennes as his club faced off with Nantes. The match ended in a one all draw.

In the second tier of French football, Y. Mbone scored for Chateauroux in additional against Niort.

Another Cameroonian, Ande Dona Ndoh took part in the match that ended in a 2 – 1 victory.

Still in the second tier of French football Paris FC, two Cameroon-born professionals Pierre Nguinda and Malick Tchokounte were part of a squad that got a 4 goals to nil victory in Quevilly.

Njie Clinton played a pivotal role in his team Olympic de Marsaille that edged Toulouse in the French Ligue 1 games

In spain, Pierre Kunde Malong scored twice for Granada against Cultural Leonesa in match day-31 games.

In the Chinese super league, Christian Basoggog’s team, Hernan Jianye suffered 2-0 home defeat from Chongqing Lifan

In the Belgian top flight Championship, Fai Collins Ngoran’s club, Standard Liege pulled a 4 all draw with Brugge

Due to his clean record in Spain, there are whispers alluding to his eminent transfer to the English Premier League topflight club, Tottenham Hotspur.
