Prime Minster Philemon Yang meets CPDM supporters in Bamenda

Campaign strategies to be deployed in the North West region by the CPDM party during the 7th October Presidential election have been unveiled.
The strategy that will be deployed as from 24th September 2018, when campaigns will be official launched was handed over to party bigwigs by Prime Minister Philemon Yang on Wednesday, 22nd August 2018.

The Prime Minister held meetings with CPDM section and sub sections presidents and political leaders to discuss on the mobilisation of supporters in order to guarantee victory of CPDM National President during the 7th October 2018.

Philemon Yang noted that campaigns should be pragmatic campaign given the peculiar context of the region. He added that the approach must be different in this election from the past. He challenged CPDM supporters to mobilise activists and citizens to work for a return to peace which is requires indispensable.

Prime Minister Yang who was in the North West in his capacity as head of the Central Committee delegation of the CPDM in the North-West region invites the voters to vote massively on October 7 in favour of Paul Biya.

The head of government assured the population of the region that despite the somewhat tense social climate in the North West and South West regions measures have been put in place to ensure that election will be held as everywhere in Cameroon and in the diaspora.

The trip to the North West region was another occasion to urge the elite of the region, traditional and religious authorities to work for the return of peace. He said peace and security are prerequisites for effective school resumption and hitch free voting process.
