“Life belongs to those who wake up early” so states an adage; the Matomba team gets up early, ready to face the day’s challenges.
This 24th September 2018 was another day with the team.
Activities in the camp started off very early.
By 7am, almost all campaign vehicles had been washed ahead of the day’s exploits.
Those in charge of the mobile van that transports the speakers and a generator could be seen doing checks to make sure the equipment are in order.
7:30am is breakfast time but today, the meal comes slightly late. There are two obligatory meals a day; one in the morning and the second in the evening that’s why breakfast is an important rendez-vous.
Before eating begins, prayers are said under the leadership of Pastor Israel Steve Noupet, a Pastor in the Matomba camp.
Breakfast is followed by a general briefing during which the various heads assign roles.
The day now begins with propaganda tours and campaign meetings.
“At the end of the day’s activities, the various team heads meet to evaluate the road covered and plan the strategy for the next day,” the PURS Campaign Mobiliser, Claude Batinga explains.
Such is a day spent in Serge Espoir Matomba’s camp.
