2018 Presidential Election: A timid start at the ADD camp

At the launch of 2018 Presidential election campaigns nationwide, the different candidates have been mobilising supporters.

The Alliance for Democracy and Development, ADD, headquaters is still to amasse steam for the campaign .

A couple of motor bikers are stationed at the entrance of the residence of the presidential candidate, Garga Haman Adji.

The group of young Cameroonians appear earger to get more information on their future president’s campaign programme.

The President of the ADD , Haman Garga Adji comes out of his home and immediately melts into campaign ambiance.

The ADD Presidential candidate appears to be giving last minute instructions to the Secretary General, the only visible member of the ‘etat-major’ of his party.

His son Bouba Adji comes closer, assisting his father as they prepare to take off with the campaign caravan.

A handful of the bike riders moving out of the candidate’s residence are clothed in party t-shirts.

The t-shirts are carrying captivating messages, “Garga Haman Adji pour une economie humaniste”
On the flyers, are varried messages ;
“A candidate for the Development of our economy”

“A candidate who knows Cameroon and can reinforce unity and solidarity in all its forms”.

His supporters, inspired by a rich past in the administration have chosen as slogan

“President digne de Confiance” translated to mean “a president worthy of confidence”

According to the campaign plan of the day, the candidate will tour the following areas in the centre region;
-Obala
-Nanga Eboko
-Sa’a
Monatele

The Garga Haman Adji the ADD candidate is taking part in a presidential election for the third time.
