2018 Presidential Election: Serge Espoir Matomba in Nitoukou

Like in the folk tale of the Pied Piper of Hamelin, Serge Espoir Matomba pulled the crowd in Nitoukou this 24th September 2018.

After a pretty tough ride from Ndikinimeki to Nitoukou, Serge Espoir Matomba got a heroic welcome.

As the Matomba team arrived the Centre of Nitoukou, the people abandoned their activities and came along with songs and ululation.

The crowd was huge and mobilisation visible; the candidate was accompanied to the Nitoukou market and back to the Centre of the town where a brief meeting was organised.

During the meeting, the PURS team members explain the candidate’s manifesto in the mother tongue.

The population was visibly flattered by the extra-effort put in by a team of committed officials working with one of the youngest contestants, Serge Espoir Matomba.

The candidate on his part, promised the people real autonomy.

He said in a Cameroon where he is President, the socio-economic situation will be one that hems-in all segments of the population.

At the end of the meeting, the people trailed the candidate for a considerable distance before saying farewell as the team took off for Ndikinimeki.
