The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon began a four-day camping this Monday 3rd September 2018 in Nairobi, Kenya.
The training is in preparation for the Saturday 8th September 2018 match against the Comoros Island counting for day two of the first round of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers.
The training session is first for the recently formed 23-man squad under coach Clarence Seedorf and Patrick Cluivert.
As at now twenty-two players have answered to Coach Seedorf’s call.
Two others are absent for the training;Felix Eboa Eboa and Andrien Temese.
The Indomitable Lions,reigning African champions, presently tops Group B with three points after a 1-0 defeat over Morocco in 2017 in the first leg of the first round of qualifiers in Yaounde.
Malawi are ranked second after beating the Comoros Island 1-0.
Senegal and Madagascar are leading in Group A while Burundi and Mali champion Group C.
Algeria and Benin top Group D, Libya and South Africa Group E, Ghana and Sierra Leone in Group F; and Zimbabawe and DR Congo in Group G.

These teams have three points each but with a goal difference.
The Indomitable Lions, hosts of the 2019 football fiesta hopes to raise the trophy for the sixth time.
The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon grabbed the prestigious tittles in 1984, 1988, 2000, 2002, and 2017.
The team trails Egypt with seven titles since the start of the competition in 1957.
Ghana are third with four titles followed by Nigeria with three.
As the host, the Indomitable Lions automatically qualify for the tournament.
The Lions last hosted the competition in 1972 and emerged third behind winners and runners-up Congo (Brazzaville) and Mali respectively.
