Presidential Election 2018: Kamto promises tarred roads and more access to electricity

The candidate of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement told supporters in a rally in Edea that he will construct 3500 kilometers of roads in Cameroon if he is elected.

He said 2500 kilometers of the roads will be tarred and priority will be given to farm to market roads.

Maurice Kamto assured the population that turned out for his rally that money to finance the project will be obtained from a reduction of government speeding and from toll gates.

He also promised to provide electricity to 80% of homes in Cameron.

The politician explains, in the northern regions that expirience nine months of sunshine annually, solar panels will be used to generate electricity.

In the southern parts of the country, mini electricity dams will be constructed on the abundant water falls.

The candidate of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement says he will open industries to assemble the photo voltaic solar panels in Cameroon.

He promised to have cables for the transportation of electricity produced in Cameroon.
