2018 Presidential Election: Kamto’s announced press conference delayed
Media professional have been waiting at the Odza headquarters of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement in Yaounde since morning.
The press conference announced for 10:30 am at Nlongkak was moved to Odza for security concerns.
Defense and security forces have stationed around the main entrance to the venue where the press conference is to take place.
Journalists were getting increasingly impatient, turned to the Spokesperson of Maurice Kamto for explanations.
He assured them to be patient insisting the press conference will hold.
The MRC spokesman who sent away CRTV reporters from the headquarters yesterday after voting, has been making several calls since the arrival of our team.
Some journalists in the wait were in a nearby drinking spot while hoping that Maurice Kamto and his Campaign manager, Paul Eric Kingue come around for the press conference.

I will like first of all like to congratulate Crtv team for their good coverage during the recent Presidential election. We could hear your correspondents answering from France, London, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Congo, Tchad etc… and even all over on the National triangle. I was surprise hearing your correspondents answering from Matom, Edea, Mamfé, Lébialem, it was fantastic! I also thank all your management team. I am not a politician, i am a simple Cameroonian, who was very happy for the good job you did. We are happy for the peace of our country and jealous of it.
Thank you very much Mr Nkouma. As you would have noticed, CRTV management is doing all to get its audience satisfied and we are grateful for your appreciation. Do keep your suggestions coming and do stay on our pages!
