2018 Presidential Election: Maurice Kamto votes in Yaounde
Presidential aspirant of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement party has cast his vote at the polling station situated at Pi and Ju Bilingual Primary school complex in Yaounde.
It was a few minutes after midday when the political leader voted.
Maurice Kamto, accompanied by his wife, Suzanne Julie Kamto was greeted by the Head of the polling station.
She later asked the Presidential candidate to confirm that his name was on the list published at the entrance of the hall.
The MRC candidate returned to the polling station, presented his national identity card and voter card.
He was then directed to get each of the different ballot papers and an envelope, go to booth and place the ballot of his choice in the envelope while the others are disposed in the waste bag.
Maurice Kamto then emerged from the booth with the brown envelope containing his vote.
He raise it to the air and gently insertedit into the ballot box.
After the exercise, the Presidential aspirant signed the election sheet, placed a finger print and took ink in his index finger indicating a successful vote.
At the end of the exercise , Maurice Kamto addressed mediamen present.
He said, he cannot make a general assessment of the voting without reports from his collaborators nationwide.
Maurice Kamto added that election is an indispensable period in the life on a nation. He urged his followers to carry out their civic rights in a calm, orderly and law abiding manner.
