2018 Presidential Election: New bus revives campaign enthusiasm for PURS team

The surprise appearance of a new bus for the PURS team Thursday, 4th October 2018 has put the campaign caravan on the media spotlight.

The population woke up this Thursday to find another well garnished bus, clothed in the Matomba colours, logo and portrait.

This comes less than a week after the original bus was consumed by what the team considers a suspicious fire accident.

In the early hours of this Thursday, the new bus drove out of Ngaoundere en route to Yaounde.

The PURS team made a symbolic stop at the exit of Beka-Guiwang (between Meiganga and Garoua Boulai). There stationed their original vehicle that lies in ruins but still bearing all the campaign colours.

There was an emotional outpour expressed by the men and women of the team.

The orchestra then played some celebration tunes in defiance of any negative force, no matter the origin.

The accident, according to
Serge Espoir Matomba has delayed the campaign considerably but the team remains resolute especially with the arrival of a new bus.
