2018 Presidential Election: The PURS team resurfaces in Garoua

The United People for Social Renovation (PURS) has resurfaced after a timid period following the bus fire incidence.

The team became more vibrant this 1st October 2018 in Garoua, North Region.

Upon arrival in Garoua, the PURS team met with local representatives in the town before resuming campaign activities.

From the Brasseries depot through Carrefour Balmari, to the Garoua Central Market, the PURS orchestra played songs and people came out in support of their candidate.

Many received flyers as the PURS representatives explained their candidate’s mission.

During the door-to-door campaign, the team reached out to many who had not yet made a decision on who they will vote as President on 7th October 2018.

A special meeting was later held in the evening at the Grand Marché where the candidate addressed the people of Garoua, calling for their support.

The Presidential Candidate of PURS, Serge Espoir Matomba looks brighter after the week-end recess.

In spite of the apparent transportation difficulties, he is determined to move northwards with his team to Maroua, Far North Region
