Cameroon’s former Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Biyiti Bi Essam has officially taken up duties as Cameroon Ambassador plenipotentiary to the State of Israel.
He took up duty after presenting letters that the President of the Republic Paul Biya accredited him as the Ambassador to Isreal to the President of the Jewish State, Reuven Rivlin.
Jean Pierre Biyiti Bi Essam was received on Thursday, 25th October 2018, in Jerusalem.
During the solemn ceremony, the former Cameroonian Minister of Posts and Telecommunications also presented the letters of recall of his predecessor.
He replaces Henri Etoundi Essomba takes over the new duties, five months after his appointment by presidential decree.
Henri Etoundi Essomba has appointed as Cameroon’s ambassador to the United States of America since April 2016.
Jean Pierre Biyiti Bi Essam a seasoned administatrator is expected to foster cooperation and diplomatic ties between Cameroon and Israel.
