Christians of the Roman Catholic Church worldwide have observed All Saints Day this Thursday 1st November 2018.
All Saints’ Day also known as All Hallow’s Day is a day dedicated to the saints of the church, all those who have attained heaven.
Reverend Father Aziz an oblate of the Mary Immaculate Conception says on this day, catholic faithful attend a holy mass dedicated to saints.
He says the reading of the Beatitudes invoke the blessing of a devoted Christian.
Other Catholics consider the All Saints Day as a day to remember the faithful departed.
In the Archdiocese of Yoaunde, official celebrations have been postponed to Sunday 4th September 2018.
Holy masses will be celebrated in various parishes and mission stations in the Archdiocese of Yaounde.
On the Thursday 1st November 2018 morning and evening, the clergy led Christians in prayers.
The Orthodox Church also observe All Saints Day.
