EMIA Graduation : President Paul Biya honours cadet officers

The President of the Republic, Commander in Chief of Defense Forces, Paul Biya has placed epaulets on the shoulder of Mboum Edinguele Davy Gildas, best cadet officer of the 2019 graduating batch.

The Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defense, the two Secretaries of State at the Ministry of Defense, the Defense Chief of staff and other top military officers followed suit in a descending order of merit.

The triumph ceremony of the Unity and Diversity batch marks the end of three years of military training at the Combined Arms Services Military Academy, EMIA.

The ceremony which comes up once in a lifetime of a soldier was punctuated by a group photograph with the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, Paul Biya.

The outgoing batch, 174 Cadet Officers in all, has within its ranks, graduands from three friendly countries, Gabon, Congo and Niger .

In line with the age_old tradition, all Cameroonians of batch have already been deployed into different units of the Army and the National Gendarmerie.
