Cameroon’s ambassador to Egypt, Fap Volleyball team has recorded two successive victories at the ongoing 2019 Women’s African Volleyball Club Championship in Cairo.
FAP, the team of female army and police force registered a second victory on Monday 18th March 2019 after defeating Revenue Authority of Rwanda by three sets to nil.
The Cameroon’s lone representative began by overpowering Shuting of Egypt three sets to zero
Fap presently tops group C with six points in two games. Pipeline of Kenya is second with three points on the classification table.
Revenue Authority of Rwanda and Shuting of Egypt are both at the bottom with no point.
In case of a third victory this Tuesday 19th March 2019 against Pipeline of Rwanda, FAP will be paired against the second in group A.
The Cameroon team will therefore dodge away from the unstoppable Al Ahly of Egypt, defending champions of the volleyball championship.
The Pipeline of Kenya that is Cameroon’s third adversary is not considered an easy ride.
The team had a tie-break last year with one of Cameroon’s teams, Evolution of Bafia.
The Women’s African Volleyball Clubs Championship is the most prominent women’s volleyball competition in Africa.
It is organised by the African Volleyball Confederation.
