Douala: PM Dion Ngute opens Cameroon business forum
The 10th edition of the Cameroon Business forum has opened in earnest in the Littoral regional capital, Douala.
Prime Minister – Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute opened the Monday, 18th March 2019 at the Sawa Hotel were stakeholders, business persons, investors from the public and private sectors as well as some cabinet Ministers had gathered.
In nation’s economic capital for the first time since his appointment on 4th January 2019, Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute is presiding over the business forum for the first time.
The focus of the forum is to discuss ways of improving the business climate in the country and attract investors. The business forum is a follow up to the January and February cabinet meetings at the Prime Minister’s offices that all dwelt on;
– Boosting local production to reduce dependence on imports
– Financial reforms to revamp the economy and
– Strategies to fast tract industrialisation
