Insecurity: Coach Ndoumbe Bosso of YOSA abducted

The Head coach of the Yong Sports Academy -Elite One Football Club has been kidnapped.

Reports from the North West regional capital indicate Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso was abducted by unidentified armed men early this Tuesday, 19th March 2019 as he stood close to his car.

Information about his whereabout or reason for his kidnapping are yet unknown.

The incident is however reported at a time when insecurity in the North West region has given rise to cases of theft, looting and abductions attributed to bandits acting under banner of the separatist movement.

Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso is a renowned football coach in the country.

Before moving to YOSA, he was head coach of Union Douala, Astres Football club of Douala, Sable of Batie and Nimba United.

Some of the glory days for Ndoumbe Bosso include the 2009/2010 season when he won about 60% of his matches with Astres FC and 50% with Nimba United in 2018.
YOSA is presently amongst the top ten in the current season.

Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso has coached YOSA for about six years. He was influential in his club’s Victory 1#0 against Stade Renard Sunday, 17 March during Day-9 matches of the League One Champions.

He is known won the Cup of Cameroon with Yong Sports Academy, YOSA of Bamenda in 2013.

Players, team officials and fans are on knees praying for the safe return of Ndoumbe Bosso who was expected to coach YOSA in the next match this weekend on Sunday, 25th March against Eding FC in Bamenda
