The chairman’s conference has deemed admissible the bill to lay down rules governing National Orders.
The government bill was examined during a sitting of members of the chairman’s conference this Monday, 25th March 2019.
Shortly after the bill was deemed admissible, a plenary session was convened during which
the bill was handed over to the constitutional laws committee for scrutiny.
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Honourable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril presided over both sessions this 25th Marc 2019.
Earlier, the Minister of Decentralisation and Local Development, George Elanga Obam defended two bills before the Constitutional Laws committee.
The two bills contains more details of the regional councils, modalities, category and numbers of regional councillors.
