Protest in Garoua: The genesis

Some students of the GBHS Ngalbige arrived school on Wednesday 20th March 2019.

Hours later, there were shouts from students that appear to be in a trance.

The new principal was finger pointed and accused as being responsible for the incident considered recurrent since the 2018/2019 academic year.

The furious students barricaded roads leading to the school and marched to the principal’s residence.

Governor Jean Abate Edii calmed the situation and promised to open investigations.
