Public Health: A team of Indian medical staff in Cameroon to address complicated health issues

Two Indian Orthopaedic Surgeons from Fortis Hospital, India are attending to patients with spine, orthopaedic and neurological problems in Cameroon.

The two surgeons, Dr Sandeep Vaishya, a Neurosurgeon and Dr Puneet Mishra, an Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 20 and 18 years of experience respectively, are in Cameroon till 20th March 2019.

The surgeons are presently consulting patients having very complicated health issues like brain, spinal cord and bone-related problems.

Programme schedule for visiting medical team


March 17 – 18, 2019

Time: 9:00am – 6:00pm

Consultation at the Clinic Frot in Camp Sonel, Essos Yaounde.


March 19 – 20, 2019

Time: 900 am – 600pm

Consultation at the Centre Medical des Portiques in Akwa, Douala.

Patients are expected to pay in 6.000 CFAF ($10) as consultation fee.

      We did not know that Ibrahim. But we wish some day they will start welcoming black people if they are not yet doing so.
