Road accident: Traffic restored along the Yaoundé-Douala highway
Traffic has been restored along the National Road number 3.
Traffic was restored following a shutdown caused by an accident late Monday 25th March 2019 at Mamb, Ngog-Mapubi, Centre region.
A press release from the Minister of Transport Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe states the accident involved Guinness transporting truck and an un-matriculated tourism vehicle.
No live was lost but one person was severely injured and huge material damage registered.

The Minister promises to sanction those found guilty of the accident that left many travelers stranded for hours as traffic was brought to a standstill.
The transport boss once again urges road users to respect the highway code to avoid similar accidents.
