The First ever international Trade Fair on Security and Safety in the Central African sub region has begun at the Yaounde Conference Centre.
The fair dubbed SECUPOL takes place under the theme, “Safety and Defence at the service of development”.
A Cameroonian start up, ‘Will and Brothers company’ organised the trade fair that is patronised by the Ministry of Defence.
The three day exhibition is intended to stimulate the creation of a local industry for security and defence.
Cameroon’s Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence, Joseph Beti Assomo presided over the opening session that was attended by the Minister of Territorial Administration and the Minister of Post and Telecommunications.
The Defence Boss invited other countries to emulate the ingenuity of Cameroonian Youth.
