Female staff of the Cameroon Radio Television have offered gifts to displaced families at the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Simbock.
Forty displaced families constituting men, women and children were present at the event.
The families received matrases , washing soap, cooking oil, sugar , rice and other basic necessities.
The Parish Priest, Rev Father Ngwa Forteh , described the women as compassionate and exemplary.
The internally displaced families equally thanked the women for responding to their needs at a difficult moment.
Fon Sally , an internally displaced mother of four from the South West Region said the gift is a big consolation after she lost all.
The gift donation closes preparatory activities for the celebration of the 34th Women’s Day on 8th March 2019.
In the meantime preparations for the celebration has heightened.
