Thousands of Cameroonians and foreign dignitaries had assembled for the celebration of the 47th edition of the feast of National Unity.
The celebration kicked off with the singing of the National Anthem and a review of the different detachments of the troops present.

The President guard led the Military parade that followed. Troops of different corps of the Defence and security forces marched past on foot, on horse back, on bikes and in armoured vehicles.
One of the major innovations in the years military parade is the participation of cadets soldiers and Officers who are still in training.
While the troops parade on the ground, Military aircrafts also flew pass the grand stand in synergy with the marchers.
Military hard ware of various shapes and sizes, illustrative of the armies capacity to defend National sovereignty and integrity were also part of the parade.
A detachment from the Congolese Army marched past alongside Cameroonian troops representive of sub Regional integration.
