Cameronians living in Ebolowa, South region have reiterated their commitment to republican values and uphold a high spirit of peaceful coexistence.
This was during a special public walk along the streets in Ebolowa this Thursday 17th May 2019.
The exercise is part of commemorative activities ahead of the 47th National Day.
The students, bike riders, buyam sellams, traditional rulers from different ethnic backgrounds were united like one man.
Led by the governor of the region Felix Nguele Nguele, the marchers, some in traditional regalia, others in sport wear were carrying placards.
The placards carried messages of peace alongside branches of peace plant and the national flag.
The walk at different corners of the city ended at the court yard of the South regional Governor’s office with an inter-religious prayer session.
The Imam of the Ebolowa central mosque and a college of clergy took turns to pray for peace in Cameroon.
