The Minister of Water Resources and Energy, Gaston Eloundou Essomba is leading an interminiterial delegation to Limbe.
The delegation composed of the Ministers of Trade, Minister of Environment and Minister of Industry are accompanied by Gendarmerie boss, Director of the PM’s cabinet and Secretary General of the Delegate General for National Security.
The delegation in Limbe on the instructions of the President of the Republic for an evaluation at the site of fire incident at the National Refining Company, SONARA.
According to a press release from the Prime Minister’s office, the evaluation mission will visit site of the fire incident, the personnel of SONARA and the affected population.
The priority actions to the taken by the evaluation mission include:
#Findings from investigation into the cause of the accident
# Assessment of level of destruction and estimated cost of reconstruction
#Assistance of population within the vicinity of the accident
# Adoption of price mechanism of petroleum productions
# Reinforcment of security on the site of accident
