2019 All Africa Games: Mayack II Marcel is standard bearer of team Cameroon

Multi award winning athlete Mayack II Marcel is the standard bearer for team Cameroon for the All Africa Games.

The Minister of Sports and Physical Education handed over the flag of Cameroon to the aced athlete in a farewell ceremony this Tuesday 13th August 2019.

The sportsman Mayack II Marcel took the oath to captain the the team of athletes heading to Morocco well and represent the country faithfully.

29 year old Mayack II will be participating in three different athletics disciplines, long jump, triple jump and high jump.

He was bronze medallist at the 2018 Commonwealth games.

Marcel also won three medals in the 2015 International University Games in Nairobi,  2 silver and one bronze.

He is also winner of three bronze medals at the Central Africa Games.

The flag bearer says despite captaining team Cameroon to the All Africa Games, he is not pressured.

Mayack II Marcel says he plans on putting in his best in order to win medals and make his country proud.
