Football: Lions abroad roar loud in their clubs

Cameroonian players abroad have proven to be exceptional in their weekend games at their various clubs and tournaments.

 

The Indomitable Lions and the Lionesses have in one way or the other contributed greatly to the weekend competitions and tournaments in Europe, Asia, Africa and other continents.

Ndip Tambe scores for Sheriff Tiraspol

Cameroonian International football defender, Ndip Tambe scored to help his club Sheriff Tiraspol to seal a 3-2 win over Dinamo Auto.

The goal came at the 84th minute to increase the goal tally of the team and add to M. Ghecev double strikes earlier in the game.

Ndip Tambe tops the Moldovan top flight championship with eight goals this season.

Jean Pierre Nsame nets twice for Young Boys of Berne

The weekend was a good one for Cameroonian Jean Pierre Nsame who scored twice to help his club Young Boys defeat St. Gallen.

Onto the lionesses, Cameroonian Midfielder Raissa Feudjio and her Spanish club UDG Tenerife have won the Teresa Herrera friendly tournament over the weekend.
The indomitable lioness scored the third goal in her team’s 5-1 spanking over the newly promoted Deportivo Abanca.

 

Alvine Ngolle of FK Minsk was part of the winning squad on day-2 of the group stage of the Women’s UEFA Champions League.

Aboudi Onguene’s CSKA Moscow qualifies for the semi-finals of the ongoing Russian Cup.

The team defeated Donchanka 4-0 with an aggregate of 6-1 to sail to the semis.

Other Cameroonians like Midfielder Tristan Dindom of Stade de Reims, Joyskim Dawa of Mariupol and many others made the weekend an interesting one for football lovers
