National Dialogue: Opposition political parties makes proposals

Opposition political parties in Cameroon have taken turns at the Prime Minister’s to make their suggestions for an inclusive and successful national dialogue.

The Prime Minister, Head of Government Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute granted three separate audiences in the morning hours of Wednesday, 18th September 2019.

The series of audiences where granted to delegations of the two factions of the UPC, officials of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement and those of the National Salvation Front.

The two factions of the UPC, sitting face to face both reassured Prime Minister, head of Govt, Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute of their parties commitment to assist President Paul Biya seek sustainable peace in the restive North West and South West regions.

The Secretaries General of both factions of the UPC, Dr. Pierre Baleguel Nkot and Hon. Bapooh Lipot presented their joint suggestions to PM Dion Ngute

On their hills was s delegation of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement that presented a manifesto to Prime Minister Dion Ngute.

The delegation from the Cameroon Renaissance Movement party was led by Vice President Tiriane Noah. She said their presence at the consultations is proof of their interest in the national dialogue.

The round of audiences for the morning ended with the National Salvation Front, led by the party’s Secretary General, Jeanne Nsoga Sone.

They also saluted the holding of the dialogue indicating that there isn’t any need for preconditions to dialogue and the party is will to assist in seeking lasting solutions to the troubles in the North West and South West regions.
