2020 Twin Elections : Minister of Territorial Administration evaluates readiness
Government’s representative in any electoral process is the Minister of Territorial Administration. In the build up to the February 9, twin legislative and municipal elections, the Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji has paid a visit to the Cameroon News and Publishing Corporation (SOPECAM) and the National Printing Press.
The visit was to assess the level of production of electoral materials for the elections. At the National Printing Press, the Minister expressed satisfaction the speed with which the nine million envelopes where produced.
The General Manager of the Nation Printing Press, Walter Paul Komo presented the documents that the Chairman of the Electoral Board of ELECAM, Enoh Abrams Egbe signed upon reception of the entirety of the envelopes.
He said that the reception was done in the presence of the Director General of Elections, Erik Essousse and ELECAM board members last Friday January 10.
Minister Paul Atanga Nji congratulated the Management of the National Printing Press for successfully completing the entire process before the deadline. He used to occasion to visit the equipments of the Printing press.
Earlier in the day, it was a similar level of satisfaction that was expressed at Cameroon News and Publishing Corporation (SOPECAM).
The Director General of SOPECAM treated the Minister to a guided tour of the companies printing facilitaties.
