The Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT and a French outfit, Le Coq Sportif have sealed a deal, a contract that will see the company provide kits to all categories of the Cameroon National football teams.
The highly awaited contract was signed onFriday January 10, 2020, between the president of the FECAFOOT and the representatives of the famous French company, Le Coq Sportif.
Seidou Mbombo Njoya signed for FECAFOOT while Patrick Ouyi ,Marketing Director of Le Coq Sportif signed for the French kit outfit.
The four years contract comes at the end of a long term deal between the Cameroon Football powerhouse and another renowned kit provider, PUMA.
Within the nine months of the MOU, Le Coq Sportif has provided kits to; the Indomitable Lions, the Indomitable Lionesses, the Intermediate and the Baby Lions of Cameroon.
The indomitable lionesses of Cameroon were dressed by Le Coq Sportif during the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France, the Indomitable Lions at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt. Le Coq Sportif also provided kits to the U-17 Lions at the World cup in Brazil and recently the U-23 AFCON in Egypt.
The contract had long been programmed for 2019 but Le Coq Sportif’s was actively involved in the 100th edition of the Tour De France.
Worthy of note, Le Coq Sportif has a century of success in the manufacturing business.
