The second phase of the 2019/2020 League One and Two football season is back on schedule after a the government of Cameroon handed over an envelopment of FCFA 350 million as subventions to the clubs.
The package was handed over to the Technical Transition Committee at the FECAFOOT on Friday, January 24th, 2020 by the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi.
Accordingly, the Elite One clubs will be allocated approximately a sum of FCFA 11 million and Elite Two FCFA 5 million each.
The money comes after a decision by the teams grouped under the Syndicate of Elite Clubs (SYCEC) to boycott the matches until further notice.
As at now, the second phase of the Cameroon elite One championship has been scheduled to resume this Wednesday, January 29th, 2020 with day-18 action.
