Managing the Douala Port Terminal: PAD says all is well

The Douala Port Authority, PAD has indicated that all is going on well since it took over the management of the Douala Port Terminal.

On Thursday, January 2, 2020, the Board Chair of the Douala Port Authority, Shey Jones Yembe, its Director General, Cyrus Ngo’o and the Director of Customs, Edwin Fongod Nuvaga visited the Port to ensure that work is effective. They also used the visit to encourage the staff.

On January 3, 2020, the Board of Directors of PAD visited the port at the end of the 87th Session of their Board Meeting.

To show that all is well at the Douala Port Terminal, on January 8, 2020, the Douala Port Authority announced that it had delivered 1000 containers since January 2, 2020, and that it has effectively started managing the Terminal.

Management says activities are booming as usual and they look foward to brighter days ahead.
