2020 Common Entrance Exams Runs Smoothly Nation Wide

 

Class Six Pupils in the Country wrote the Common Entrance Examination on Tuesday June 30, 2020 despite the prevailing atmosphere. The exams unfolded under strict respect of barrier measures against the Corona Virus Pandemic.

At 8:30 am Candidates kick started with Mathematics .
Despite the heavy rain in the morning, the Pupils determined to write turned massively in their various Centers.

At Government Bilingual Primary School Biyemassi, sub center in the Yaounde 6 Council the examination was hitch free according to Officials.

25 students maximum were found in each Class and were seated one per bench as prescribed by Government.
Before entering the School Campus,candidates were obliged to wash their hands and wear their face mask.

Another measure taken by the School is that Parents who came to accompany their kids were not also allowed to enter the School Campus to avoid overcrowding.

At 10 am the 1st subject of the day was over that is Mathematics 1&2 which was not difficult according to Destiny Ayienweyi.

“Thanks to the revision we did with our teacher after holidays I was able to solve what we were given today and I’m sure I will pass”.

For Ayuk John another candidate, “Mathematics 2 was manageable”.
” I wrote paper 1 without any problem but paper 2 was not that easy but I managed to write it”

The Candidates finished with English Language at 1:30 pm in the afternoon.

Here, measures aimed at stoping the spread of COVID-19 were followed to the letter according to Godlove Njuh Regional Pedagogy Inspector for the Promotion of Biligualism.

The Pupils left the examination hall confident about what they wrote and are now waiting for the First School Certificate which will crown all their primary school efforts., and pave the way for them into secondary schools.
