Management and staff of Cameroon Telecommunications, CAMTEL are being trained on the management of public assets.
This is at an eight-day workshop organised by the Supreme State Office Audit, CONSUPE with theme, “Securing Public Assets.”

The Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of the Supreme State, Rose Mbah Acha Fomundam opened the workshop this July 20, 2020.
The objective of the training is to sensitise CAMTEL’s management on the legal framework governing management of state property.
This will serve in preventing management errors, ensure budgetary and financial discipline, good governance practices and proper execution of contracts.
During the opening ceremony, the Director General of CAMTEL, Judith Yah Sunday epse Achidi thanked the CONSUPE team for their effort and called on her staff to collaborate and get empowered during the workshop so as to be able to effectively and efficiently implement CAMTEL’s strategic vision rolled out from 2019 to 2020.
At the end of the day, participants are supposed to be able to identify and avoid management faults.
The training is divided into six sessions with various topics of discussion.
