Bacc & BT Industriel Exams: Statistics Show An Overall Increase In Success Rates

The Baccalaureate Board has indicated a general increase in performance for the 2020 session of examination written despite the COVID-19 Pandemic. According to statistics, the general performance for the Industrial and General Baccalaureate as well as the Brevet de Technicien Industriel during the 2020 session are slightly better than those of last year 2019.

Out of 1,428 candidates who registered for the Industrial Baccalaureate,1,089 passed making a success rate of 76.80%. The results correspond to an increase in 5 points compared to 2019 with of rate of 71.71%.
In addition, the Af1 and Af2 series obtained a 100% success rate this year.

Regarding the Brevet de Technicien Industriel Exams, 6,399 passed out of 7,814 who registered giving a success rate of 82.6%; much higher than the 2019 session which scored 53.87%.

For the Brevet Professionnel Industriel, the success rate in 2020 is 83.64%, a higher score compared to last year with 65.10% making an increase of 18 points.

The case was not the same with Baccalaureate General that witnessed a drop. They scored a 47.22% success rate compared to 60.50% in 2019. Some 19,400 candidates sat the exam.

The statistics was published as results of the general and Industrial Baccalaureat and Brevet de Technicien Industriel were released.
