"Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities, Progress for All”.  That is the theme of this 25th International Women’s Day.  In Yaounde, the ceremony took place in the presence of first Lady Chantal Biya at the May 20 Boulevard.

Women of the Prime Ministers Office reflected on what the office has done for them.

The euphoria after the march pass on the occasion of the 25th edition of the International Women’s Day is gradually draining-out as women get back to work and face the daily reality.

The Commonwealth week was launched yesterday 9th March in Yaounde , by the Minister Delegate in the Ministry of External Relations in charge of the Commonwealth Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute, under the theme “Science, Technology and the Society”.

Hundreds of people from the nomadic Mbororo clan in the Northern part of Cameroon converged on Poli, in the Faro Division last Friday to celebrate the first-ever mbororo Arts and Cultural Festival.

C’est la semaine des gentlemen et elle s’annonce plutôt chargée, en attendant la journée elle-même, celle du Commonwealth, qui se célèbre le vendredi 12 mars 2010 sur le thème «  science technologie et sécurité » de nombreuses activités se déroulent déjà.
