Titbits from the Mvila Division: Stake holders in different sector brainstorm over the week end

Owners of Hotels and proprietors of Tourism Industries in Cameroon will meet next year in Ebolowa to discuss ways and means through which their activities can be made more attractive and profitable.

This announcement was made during a 2-day general assembly of the South Regional Syndicate of proprietors of Hotels and Tourism structures that held recently at the Ambam Women’s Empowerment Centre.

Over in the South Region, senior Staff of the South Regional Delegation of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries and those of Agriculture and Rural Development have attended a 10-day training.

The training was organized to improve upon their administrative management skills. The training which took place in Ebolowa is an initiative of a new progamme which seeks to enhance Public Management in the rural sector.

Mvila Division

The Minister of Trade, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana has called on farmers in Mvangan, Mvila Division to produce more food crops in order to stop capital flight through increased food imports into Cameroon. He was speaking last week end in Mvangan during the 3rd edition of the Banana and Plantain Feast. 

The feast is an occasion for farmers to put their produce on display and carry out promotional Sales.
