Presidential couple returns: Paul Biya and wife arrived Yaoundé Yesterday evening

President Paul Biya has returned to Cameroon after participating at the 64th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA.

The Head of State, accompanied by First Lady Chantal Biya, was received on arrival by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Honourable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril, the Prime Minister Head of government, Philemon Yang, and the Minister of State, Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic, Laurent Esso.

The President then granted three brief airport audiences respectively to the three personalities above.

Meanwhile Chantal Biya had an all women discussion with the spouses of some close collaborators of her husband the President.

Paul Biya has come back after having addressed the International Community at the United Nations Organisation.

His speech dwelled on conflict resolution, climate change, the reform of the UN and the hopes and expectations of African countries vis-a-vis the sacrifices made in regulating the World’s climatic conditions.
