The administrators are being acquainted techniques of properly planning, monitoring and reporting on issues concerning councils.

They are also being updated on their roles as supervisory authorities in the decentralisation process in Cameroon.

The encounter is being organised at a time when government has intensified preparations for the effective take off of the process to effectively begin on 1st of January 2010.

The workshop was organised by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation in collaboration with the German Technical Cooperation GTZ.

The opening ceremony was chaired by West Regional Governor, Mani Pascal.
