1. Nandeke-Bere road construction launched, a dream come true

Construction work on the Nandeke-Bere road in the Adamawa has officially been launched. The ground-breaking ceremony was officiated in the town of Meiganga last week end by Cameroon’s Minister of Public Works, Bernard Messengue Avom.

The ceremony took place in the presence of donor institutions led by Ambassador Raul Mateus Paulo who is the new chief of the EU Delegation in Cameroon.

2. Women empowered to join in the fight against poverty

The project for the reinforcement of women’s capacities in the fight against poverty in Cameroon CAREF recently organised a two day seminar in Yaounde to drill women on conflict management within women’s Associations.

42 participants from associations that promote women activities in Cameroon are benefiting from the initiative.

CAREF organised the seminar, to encourage women’s associations to form beneficial networking.
