1. 1000 soldiers of the infantry graduate
A new battalion of the Rapid Intervention unit of the Cameroonian armed forces has graduated from the Koutaba training centre.
The 1000 soldiers of the infantry received their end of course certificate last week at a ceremony presided over by General Philip Mpay.

2. An astute diplomat receive international distinction
Cameroon’s former Ambassador to Italy, H.E Chief Michael Tabong Kima has been decorated with the Red Cross knight of the order of Italian merit. The decoration done by the Italian Ambassador to Cameroon Antonio Belavia is at the request of the Italian President.
The former diplomat to Italy served as Ambassador for eighteen years, during which he contributed in the promotion of the existing excellent bilateral relations between Cameroon and Italy.
