Nigerian born Kathyrne Obiageli Ezekwesili is on a four day working visiting to Cameroon.

The World Bank bigwig and the President of the Republic discussed a wide range of issues including public governance, poverty reduction and public finance management.

At the end of the over one hour tête à tête, Kathyrne Obiageli Ezekwesili said the World Bank is ready to support the government of Cameroon in her fight against corruption and other economic recovery programmes.

The World Bank Vice President however indicated that Cameroon needs to make progress in public governance that works for the poor.

Before the visiting Kathyrne Obiageli Ezekwesili ends her four day visit to Cameroon, the role of finance management shall be discussed at the National Assembly.
