1. South Korea grants a 17.5 billion CFA loan to Cameroon

A protocol agreement worth 17.5 billion CFA francs has been signed between the governments of Cameroon and South Korea. The loan from the South Korean government will finance the construction of three professional training Centres in Douala, Limbe and Sangmelima.

The signing ceremony was presided over by the Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development Louis Paul Motaze, in the presence of the South Korean Ambassador to Cameroon H.E. Ho-Sung LEE.

2. Interpol organises training workshop

Police Officers from Cameroon and five other countries in the Central African Region have acquired new techniques in criminal investigations. The five-day capacity-building regional workshop was organised at the Yaounde Police Academy.

The Delegate General for National Security –Emmanuel EDOU thanked the Interpol for organising the encounter.
